PHI's user-friendly programmable digital controller, the DT5600,
is specifically designed for bending and is logically laid out for
proper bending sequencing. It has a capacity for 100 programs
consisting of 1 to 10 bends per program. One of the many versatile
features is the ability to readily switch from a manual bend mode to
a semiautomatic mode.
The 246 is equipped with an automatic lubrication system that
keeps all necessary machine parts lubricated. A carriage assembly
hydraulically powers the distance-between-bend movement and the
plane of bend movement to speed production and to help prevent
operator fatigue.
The 246 is an ideal bending machine for mass production of large
diameter pipe and tube where quality of the bend and maximum control
over wall thickness and ovality are important.

PHI 270 PRECISION BENDING
MACHINE
A powerful hydraulic bending machine for large tubes (to 7" OD)
and pipe (to 6" IPS Schedule 80)
With this powerful 270 you can virtually eliminate the need for
welded elbows in your pipe systems and cut labor costs by as much as
70%. Even greater savings can be achieved by eliminating the need to
inspect and test the welds.
The 270 can accurately duplicate welded elbows by bending up to
schedule 80 pipe to a minimum 1.5D centerline radius. Wall thinning
is controlled with a pressure die booster which moves the follower
die forward reducing drag on the pipe. In addition a clamp booster
forces the pipe into the bend area. Further control over wall
thinning is obtained with our infinitely variable speed control for
the bend arm.
